Klopp giving up on Alisson as he sets his sights on Donnarumma

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly losing hope of Liverpool’s chances of signing Alisson from Roma this summer.

Corriere dello Sport claims that the Reds boss is now setting his sights on Gigio Donnarumma.

The report claims that Liverpool will battle Premier League rivals Chelsea for the signature of the Italian shot-stopper.

Both clubs are in the market for a goalkeeper this summer, but it is believed that Chelsea are leading the race to sign Alisson.

Donnarumma has been earmarked as an alternative for the Blues if they’re unable to strike a deal with Roma.

It is believed that Roma are asking for near £60 million for Alisson this summer, where Milan could deal at around £50 million for Donnarumma.

However, there are suggestions that their asking price could change, with the Serie A side being forced into selling key players this summer to avoid any further Financial Fair Play charges.
